I Travel The Planet

With prairies ahead and the mountains behind me,
I run to the places where no one can find me,
And there I will gather my strength all around me,
So I can be free and so no one can bind me.
The world always beacons and calls me to find her,
Explore all her regions, the rough and the kinder,
I stand on the mountains and take off my blinder,
I know there's a God for the earth's a reminder.
To learn of their customs with no expectations,
Accepting the people of high and low stations,
Communing with strangers to make new relations.
The world is a ring and I'm here where I started,
Right back where I was, like I never departed,
I saw many places but left most uncharted,
To travel the globe isn't for the faint-hearted.
